Platform.sh faces a number of sustainability-related challenges: maintaining optimum information systems security in a context where remote working is the norm, meeting the expectations of key account partners who ask about its sustainability approach, and meeting the demands of its many investors.
Demonstrate the seriousness of their CSR approach through the EcoVadis assessment and turn it into a competitive advantage, particularly in a US market that is lagging behind on sustainability issues.
Reduce the time needed to collect ESG data each year, so that we can respond easily to investor questionnaires and devote more time to our CSR approach: carbon footprint, evaluations, responsible purchasing, etc.
Solution
Platform.sh used Beavr to structure its CSR management system, formalize numerous policies and procedures with a view to an EcoVadis assessment, and rationalize and collect no less than 150 ESG indicators in order to respond to its stakeholders.
Impact and results
By harmonizing and streamlining indicators, Platform.sh was able to reduce ESG data collection to 2 weeks, while significantly improving the contributor experience. The data collected in Beavr is then 100% reusable, enabling us to respond to investor requests in record time.
